You heard about a project to end experimenting on animals, there were posters of it everywhere asking what you thought. You either liked it, criticized it, or didn't care, but signed your name under the corresponding column anyway. A few days later, you were walking home as someone shoved a sickly-sweet smelling rag over your mouth and a bag over your head. You woke up in a cage, feeling strange. Three walls of it were pressed up against concrete, but the wall in front of you was open to a hallway. And on the the other side of the bars, on the far concrete wall, you saw that poster with your name on it.
And your name was crossed out.

RULES!

1. No god-modding
2. No auto-hitting, only i can do that, and only if i have to!
3. Do not just go like 'ooh! an opening, i free now!' i decide how you get out of the cage and when.
4. I am god, my word is law! XD
5. Do not eat other people's chars. Cat no eat mouse, wolf no eat deer, that kind of jazz.
6. Type "stupid doctors!" anywhere if u read and agree to these rules.
7. No irregular colors. Like, no blue cats, and red dolphins, or green wolves with red eyes. Yeah, i said it, NO RED EYES!
8. Have fun. And if u don't, say hi to mister boot! (jkjkjk but do have fun)

Okay, it doesn't say it, but you are now an animal. Any animal, but not a neko of it or something. You can't speak human, but can understand human and your same species(ex: cat can understand cats, wolf wolves, etc. (great for private conversations! XD)) You will ether find a hole in you cage, get out when humans open the door, or another animal will let you out. I will decide, I'll either just put it in OCC or pm u(prob OCC). If you want an unreal animal (griffin, dragon) pm me! Any family info will help, for further down the line...names of siblings especially! And without further ado,

Personality: Jessica is more of the isolated and solitary type, but she is becoming more herdbound. She doesn't enjoy being bossed aorund, and she finds animal slaughter cruel. Her personality is one of 'I don't care', and that is her reputation. She has been hurt multiple times on the inside and outside, so it never looks like she feels pain when she may actually be crumbling on the inside.

Johnathan opened his eyes, his right cheek against a metal cage floor. Raising his head, he noticed something was wrong, and he wasn't human. "Where am.." He stopped, hearing his voice come out like a horse, but understandable. "Am, am I a horse?!" He thought, looking down at his legs, which had hard hooves on the end. "What the crap is this?" He said, going up to the cage front.Turning his head, something caught in the bars of the cage. "Now what?" He turned back to look at what it was, but then it his him. "Are you freaking kidding me?!"He yelled, waking some of the others. "I can handle a horse, but a f***ing unicorn!?" He then starting cursing loudly and harshly. Thankfully no one else could understand him. (except maybe horses, u decide.)

Chiisai woke up with a start, hearing loud, furious, neighing. "Well, some weird horse is freaked." She stopped, realizing her voice was he cries and hoots of an owl. "What the? Why the bloody hell am I an owl!?" She screeched, spreading her wings, and turning her head to look at them. She flew at the bars of the cage, managing to stop before flying into them. "What is- Is that that poster that was all over town? What is that doing here. Where is here anyway? Someone answer me!" She called.

Zachery smirked, sitting in his lab. He could hear and understand them, amused by their anger. "Seems they're starting to wake. That boy has quite a mouth on him." He would give them a moment before starting.

Mandy woke laying on her back. She started to close her eyes again before she realized the roof of the cage wasn't her bedroom ceiling. She flipped, going to the back of the cage. "W-where am I?" She whispered, hearing owl screeches and horses.

Jessica woke up, expecting to see the walls of her bedroom. Instead, she was surprised to see the bars of walls. Infuriated at the thought she had been captured, she reared up, and realized she could actually rear. Confused, she looked down and notice that she now had four black limbs touching the ground, and she immediatly recognized horse hooves.
"What? A horse? You've got to be bloody joking!" she cursed, slamming in to a corner of a cage. She noticed the sound of an owl's shriek, another bewildered horse neighing and the tiny squeaks of a...mouse? She took a look around, and spotted the flyer. She noticed her name crossed out, and she took a step back.
"Th-this is all because I signed that thing?" she cursed under her breath.

Personality: Ace is a very tough guy on the outside, but if you get to know him he cares a lot about people. It is hard to get past his icy barrier that protects him from harm and not many people try to get past it anyway. He has a foul mouth at times, but you have to get him quite upset for that to happen. He is pretty mellow otherwise.
Fam (would really help!): Same as Jessica. (he is Jessica's brother. :3)

Personality: Maya is a very solitary girl, a lot like the cougar. She hates being challenged, and prefers to turn her head from people who ask her questions. She is very silent, but if you don't keep an eye on her she might be gone in a blink of an eye. She rarely ever gets closer to other people, and she is the 'grumpy' type, only because she is too scared to get closer and start to learn other people.

OCC: acceptedness! cewl chars, and sorry i've been gone so long. i shouldn't have started so soon ot meh vaca XD but, life goes on. and i suppose that there are enough differences between horses and unicorns for them not to understand each other.

Johnathan finally stopped cursing long enough to hear what sounded like an owl, a mouse, and a horse. "Oh, so a girl got to be a HORSE, but nooo, THE GUY IS A BLOODY UNICORN!" He stopped, still fuming. It was just then that he noticed the flyer with his name crossed out. "Lemme guess, all this crap is because i signed that bloody flyer....of course." He started pacing between the corners of his cage, his anger not quite over.

Luna stopped, calming a bit. She then realised how well she could hear everything; she could even hear the fast purr of a mouse's heart. (she's a barn owl) "Well, that's the only good thing from this." She then started to study her prison, looking for weaknesses, holes. And sure enough....nothing. "There goes that idea."

Mandy was closing her eyes and trying to wake up from this dream, and it didn't work. "Why me? Why the heck am i a mouse?!" She squeaked, going to the front of the cage, and seeing the poster. "Well, maybe that has something to do with it." She muttered, seeing her name crossed out.

(OCC: i'm going to hold on any humans coming for a chance of freedom, give some chance for more pll to come. post for your chars, then rp pause for a day or 2)

Maya woked up, finding herself curled on a metal floor. A yawn escaped her lips, and she stood up. She licked her lips, then felt something sharp poke her tongue. She ran her tongue once more across her teeth, to see large pointed fangs. She nearly leaped back in surprise, but she decided to look down at herself. Instead of her hands, long paws and sharp claws were there, and she looked to her back to see a tail. Realising she was a cougar, she cursed.

Ace yawned, and opened his eyes. It felt weird; everything was so sharp! It was as if he was wearing his friend's glasses. He turned his head, feeling a bit awkward as well. He turned it a bit more...and a bit more, until his head was facing the other side of the cage. His heart sunk, and he dreaded to look down. He did, however, and he spotted long sharp talons and feathers. Bloody feathers.
"Those bitches." he cursed, muttering under his breath.

Jessica slammed her hooves in to the cage corners, trying to break out. She swiveled her ears around, hearing another horse thing. She focused a bit harder. It was hard to understand, but she could make out some words.
"Be quiet, will you?" she snapped back at the unicorn, understanding his pain however.

Johnathan stopped, half-understanding her and hearing loud bangs of hooves and steel. He heard quiet, and stopped for a moment. "I'll be quiet when I'm not a F***ING UNICORN!!" He shouted at her. He then proceeded to try and ram the door open. He backed up to the back of the cage, then, with great force, he galloped straight at the door. When he hit it, it made the back of the cage lift a half-inch off the ground, and a tiny dent in the bars. "OW!" He shouted, louder.

Luna tilted her head, the shouts hurting her ears slightly. "Seems two of us can communicate." She muttered.She hopped up to the cage, sticking her beak through the bars to try and work the handle. She couldn't open it, and gave up angrily. "Dang."

Mandy finally calmed down enough to think rationally. "Okay, try to get out." She ran up to the bars and tried to slip through them, but the space was just slightly too small.

Maya forced herself to drag her eyes away from her paws and tried to blink away any signs of weariness, trying to wake up from this dreaded nightmare. It didn't seem to be effective, however, for she was still a large feline.

Keeping calm, Ace turned his head back to facing forward, until he heard the squeaking of the mouse. He felt a bit hungry, but he realized that if everyone here had once been human, that would be a bit like cannibalism. Ace was not cannibalistic, and he wasn't about to start.

Jessica sighed, trying to calm herself down. She felt ever so skittish now, but she knew she couldn't, and shouldn't, run away. It would be illogical; the scientists would hunt her down anyway. But, she made a slight promise in her head. I will get out of here...somehow. she pondered on.

Personality: Jacob is very protective of his family and he keeps to himself when he is out on the streets looking for a place to hide his siblings from the g-men, he is the type to attack anyone and will kill them if they try to harm any of his family but he doesn't so he wouldn't attract any attention to himself or others.
Fam (would really help!): He has five little sisters(ages 7, 8, 9, 10, and 15) he protected from being taken away and sent into the foster system by moving them around. His mother, father and Step mom are all dead.

Jacob was asleep in his cage not aware he was turned into a cougar at all but he heard owls, a mouse, horses and a cougar. He paid no attention to it since he thought it was a dream after all. He woke up slowly as the drugs that were running through his body were wearing off. Didn't try to get up at all since his legs and arms felt really weak. He lets out a big yawn before he opened his eyes and saw that he was in a caged he began to panic slightly. "Whats going on here? Why am I in a Cage?" He says not yet noticing that his voice was that of a cougar's. He looked around and Saw a flyer outside his cage and his name was on it with a line through it. "I sign that flyer because the guy that Handed it to me said it would help me and my family from any government problems that we had. I never thought it would land me in a cage." He got up and streched his back and legs in a cat like fasion then he realized that it wasn't a dream it was a living nightmare. "I'm a Cat?" He was looking straight out of his cage and say a man in a white coat. "What have you Done to me? I demanded to be answered you son of a bloody Mary." He says thinking of the worst Queen in all of england not wanting to assume that anyone here wasn't british.

Maya looked over to here the growls of a cat, but she could understand them somehow. Another cougar? she pondered, glad that there was somebody that could at least understand her. She shook her head, and looked over the cages, trying to understand what was going on. In the corner of her eyes, she spotted a white flyer with names and red strikes across them. Confused, Maya looked more closely and spotted her name with a big X on it. Panic shot through her as well as fear, and she curled in the corner of her cage, looking as small as possible.

Jacob was getting mad that the guy in the lab coat didn't answer him. "Once I get out of here I'll rip his head off the first chance I get." He says to himself before he paces back and forth in his cage. "I'm a fucking large cat and if I don't get something to eat or drink at all. Geez first thing any animal wants after being drugged is water and some food." He says to himself not know that the other cougar was able to understand every word he said.
